Three of his descendants, The Hammerman Brothers (Benjamin, Bernard and Hyman) worked on the Bowery in NYC before WWII, which at the time was the major diamond center in the U.S.
Immediately following their discharge from the army after WWII, the Hammerman Brothers started their continuing contribution to the international world of fine watches and jewelry.
Patented design by Benjamin Hammerman, incorporating a ladies' watch into a beautiful bracelet, elevating a simple proletarian necessity into a fine and dramatic piece of jewelry.

During the next 10 years an amazing array of platinum and diamond ladies’ bracelet watches were designed by Bernard and created by the artisans in the Hammerman factory.
The pieces are collector's items which frequently appear at auction houses worldwide.
